Anti Virus with Free Virus

What ever happened to honesty and integrity? I download and try out many different free anti virus, anti spyware and other software so i can post it here for people to try for themselves. I also offer my opinion on the software, but recently i have tried a few programs that came with free viruses and spyware programs attached! (this is sarcasm)

You think you are going to be safe i the knowledge that you have decent freeware that is going to keep your computer safe and secure when in actual fact that very software is exposing your personal informaton to hackers.

Obviously you should only download software from a reliable source but these reliable sources are few and far between these days. Download.com is one such source. Although they have a disclamer on their website stating that you are donloading software at your own risk they should at least run a check on the software to see if it has a trojan attached or a keylogger.

So what i am trying to say is you realyy dont know what you are going to get with freeware. Sometimes you are just better off to skip the freebies and just buy the software.
